Deeptech 2019 – 2021

From Waga Energy's €10M round to its IPO

Apparius supported Waga Energy over a substantial part of its financial journey. In 2019, we helped the company secure a €10 million round from investors including ALIAD, Ovive, Starquest, Noria and Tertium, financing its international expansion and the development of its WAGABOX® technology.

We then advised the founders on the company’s €126 million initial public offering on Euronext Paris in October 2021. The IPO gave Waga Energy the capital to accelerate its expansion and establish itself as a European leader in producing biomethane from landfill gas.

Deeptech 2014 – 2023

Cosmo Tech, from first round to Series C

Since 2014, we have advised Cosmo Tech (formerly The CoSMo Company), a Lyon-based developer of a platform for modelling and simulating complex systems, which lets energy and logistics companies test their decisions on digital twins. In 2014, we advised the company on its first €3.8M round with Aster, Sofimac and Crédit Agricole Création.

In 2018, the company raised €18M to expand across Europe, led by Inven Capital, the fund of Czech energy group ČEZ, alongside Cemag Invest and Cathay Innovation. In 2023, after moving to a SaaS model distributed by Microsoft, IBM and Accenture, we ran its Series C, whose first tranche was taken up by Accenture Ventures with Inven Capital and Cemag Invest.

Deeptech 2010 – 2014

From eNovance's first round to its $100M exit

In 2010, eNovance’s initial €3M Series A was one of Apparius’s first assignments, bringing Odyssée Venture into the capital of this open-source cloud orchestration specialist. In 2013, we supported the company in a €6M non-dilutive financing, notably bringing Entrepreneur Venture on board and giving it the means to build on its growing reputation in the OpenStack community.

In 2014, in a dual-track process, we advised the company on its $100M sale to Red Hat, a landmark transaction for the open-source community.
