A spin-off of the Institut Laue-Langevin founded in Grenoble in 2000, Xenocs designs X-ray scattering instruments to characterise materials at the nanoscale. Self-funded until then, the company brought in Capza as a minority investor alongside two of its co-founders to accelerate its growth, particularly in software. Apparius ran the process with a limited number of funds.
