Investment bankers nurtured through entrepreneurship

Cédric Goarant brings more than 25 years of deal-making experience. He began his career as CFO of Silicomp, where he led its sale to Orange, then co-founded InnovaFonds, a venture capital firm backing innovative SMEs, where he helped build the portfolio and drive the firm's growth.

In 2013, he founded 13advisory, an M&A advisory firm that became a significant player in the French market and merged with Apparius in 2019. He has since served as Managing Partner.

Cédric is also CFO of Verkor, a French manufacturer of low-carbon, high-performance batteries, where he leads the financial strategy supporting its scale-up in Europe.

Henri de Lalande has been an investment banker for 17 years, specialising in technology and innovation. He began his career at goetzpartners, a pan-European investment banking boutique, in its Technology, Media and Telecoms team.

In 2011, he co-founded Apparius, where he is a Partner advising clients on complex financial transactions.

Henri is also an entrepreneur: he founded two agtech start-ups, Infrascreen and Techponics, both backed by venture capital investors. He also runs an independent strategy consulting practice.

A Europe-based US citizen, Kiko Filipov has 9 years of investment banking experience in healthcare. He began his career at FOS Capital (Future of Surgery) in New York, where he built deep expertise in the sector.

Kiko joined Apparius in 2018. As Head of Healthcare Venture, he now leads all of the firm's fundraising mandates and advises entrepreneurs, executives and boards in medical devices, digital surgery and digital health.

Yoann Foray has worked in investment banking since 2015, with a strong focus on innovation. He spent four years at Caisse d'Epargne Rhône Alpes, where he played a key role in setting up its start-up banking practice.

Since joining Apparius in 2019, Yoann has advised innovative companies on their financial transactions.

Jérôme Pascal is an investment banker and entrepreneur. After ten years at Calyon and goetzpartners, he co-founded Apparius in 2010 and served as its first Managing Partner.

In 2019, he became CEO of Wazo, a communications infrastructure start-up, and was then involved with Maskott, an edtech start-up, from 2021 to 2024.
