Grenoble-based Allegro DVT, a specialist in video encoding and decoding software, acquired 100% of Amphion Semiconductor, a Northern Irish company spun off from MaxLinear. The deal brought in a team of around ten engineers and made Allegro DVT the world's leading provider of video codec libraries.
